Who we are

We’re Myth & Oak—three people, a pack of animals, and a whole lot of love for the land.

Nestled on nine partially wooded acres in Stem, North Carolina, our farm is a small, slow-growing project rooted in respect for nature, community, and storytelling. We’re first-generation farmers, and deeply committed to building something meaningful—something that nourishes the soil and the soul.

This isn’t a high-output production farm. It’s a place where mushrooms grow in the shade of the forest, where rescued animals live out their days in peace, and where we experiment with old methods and new ideas to create food, herbs, and experiences that feel safe, beautiful, and intentional.

Our dream is to create a farm that serves the community, honors the ecosystem, and makes room for everyone—especially those who’ve often been left out of traditional agriculture. Whether you’re here for tea, eggs, or just to visit the animals, we’re so glad you found us.

We’re a small team (just three humans and a lot of animals), so please give us a little time to respond.
